Lord of the Flies

A plane , carrying some students, gets shot down in the mist of the war and the students miraculously survived the crash. They landed on a tropical island. Piggy found a conch shell and used is as a horn to gather the people when he wanted, and they decided to elect a leader, Ralph. Ralph appoints Jack to be in charge of hunting. Jack and Simon set out to explore the island. Jack tells Ralph that they needed a signal fire to get attention from passing ships to have any chance to go back to civilization after coming back. They succeeded lighting a fire but they did not take care of it and it soon got out of control that it burnt the forest. The youngest boy gets presumably burnt to death.

The group started falling apart as the older boys were playing rather than making shelter, and Jack gets obsessed with hunting. Piggy spots a ship but he was furious to see the signal fire, that was the responsibility of the hunters, was out. When Jack comes back with his first kill, Piggy reprimands him but he went to hit Piggy. Ralph blows the horn and gathers the group, making a speech and unifying the group once again. Some younger boys are troubled with nightmares of a monster. Military planes battled in the skies while they were sleeping. A parachutist landed near the signal fire, dead. Sam and Eric saw the silhouette of the parachute that looked liked a monster, and heard the fluttering of the parachute in the wind, and thought that is was the fluttering of the wing of the beast. News of the beast spreads rapidly among the boys. Jack and Ralph were sent to check about the monster. They returned with bad news, that the monster exists. A meeting was held to plan how to deal with the monster. Jack called Ralph a coward, and wants him to be out of any charge of the group, but the boys refused to pull Ralph out of Office
Out of rage, Jack fled to the beach, gathering all hunters and made himself the leader of the hunters.They had a bloody ritual and killing. Simon was plagued by bad visions of the Lord of The Flies, and went up the mountain to check it out. He noticed that it was a parachutist, and return to break the good news, unfortunately, Ralph and Piggy joined Jack, and Jacks men killed Simon with their bare teeth and hands. Ralph and Piggy fought with Jack. A boulder was thrown by a boy called Roger, and killed Piggy and shattered the conch shell. Ralph hid in the jungle but Jack ordered his man to burn it down. Ralph, chased by Jacks men, fled to the beach, and collapsed in exhaustion. A British Naval officer was in front of him, and he noticed that the island had people after seeing the inferno. He asks Ralph to explain what was going on, and Ralph cried. Seeing the bloodthirsty men, the Naval officer left the island.
