1)I chose this picture for the background as it gives the readers an idea of what is going to happen in the story, with the haunted house and spooky background, giving them a hint that it is going to be a ghost story.
2)Firstly, this background gives the readers a brief outline of the story. I gave the characters two very distinguishable characters, the brother is timid, but the sister is brave and adventurous.
3)The elements in the comic give the story a spooky feel and the characters' character would also play a part in the story. The elements also keeps the readers in suspense to want to continue reading the story to find out what would happen to the two characters.
Hi Tiet Gan, this is Arnold. I had just read your comic and am very impressed by the amount of effort you had put into the comic.I think your motives were successful. Yes, I did feel a bit frightened and you did manage to make me feel like continuing to read on in excitement before even finishing admiring the pictures. Although you managed to keep me in suspense at the end of the story, I personally don't really like the ending as I would wish to know the ending after the witch said that the two children were not allowed to leave. Then the story abruptly stops.

I agree with Arnold that you have indeed achieved your motive in getting your readers interested in continuing to reading the story. I feel that you had used the appropriate setting and emotions, which helped to improve your comic. Good job!
