PICTURE SETTING

1)I looked around, waited, waited for the precise moment when nobody was looking. The moment finally came. No sweat, trembling hands or pumping hearts. I have done it so many times, it is just a routine. I took the bottle up and put it into my jacket as if it was right to do so, and made my way through the store. I realized that someone was looking at me. That was when the adrenaline kicked in.

2)I walked into the convenient store to get a bottle of water. There was a guy paying at the counter, but it was a guy wearing a black jacket, with red hair that caught my eye. What a typical gangster these days, i half expected that he was up to no good. Indeed he was. He opened his jacket, took a bottle of drinks, and then tucked it in as if it was nobody's business. He concealed the bottle under the jacket and walked out of the shop casually. I was about to stop him, but someone was faster than me. "Stop!" someone shouted. The shoplifter ran, I gave chase instinctively.

  2. I think that the first setting is about how the thief goes through a change of heart and repents his ways as a thief. The second one, i thing it is about how you chased the thief and against all odds catch him and give him up to the police.

  3. i think both deals with thievery. The settings can come out with many storylines...
    1) you were dared by a person
    2) you had not had something to eat or drink for a while

i believe that the story is going to be full of suspense.

  4. I think that both stories are about shoplifting but from a different perspective. The first one is from the perspective of the thief while the second is from the perspective of the person catching the thief.
