The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Tom Sawyer lives in Saint Petersburg, Missouri. He once dirtied his shirt in school and was made to clean the fence as a punishment an his day off. He takes advantage of this to get rewards from his friends for doing the jobs, and in turn trades it for tickets that are used to trade for a Bible as a prize. This shows that he is a clever person.

He falls in love with a girl named Becky Thatcher, the daughter of Judge Thatcher, but soon breaks up when she found out that he had fallen in love before. He meets Huck shortly after, the same person as the one in "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn", in the cemetery, and witnessed the murder of Dr. Robinson, by someone named Injun Joe. The two sign a blood oath not to tell anyone about this murder. Muff Potter, a hapless drunk, was accused for the murder.

Tom, Huck and Tom's friend Joe Harper escaped to and an island to become pirates. The people start to launch a search for the three. Tom went back to his house and spied on his family. Realizing the pain his disappearance is inflicting on his family, Tom plans to appear during his funeral, or rather "funeral", and persuades the others to do the same.

Muff Potter's trail soon comes and Tom's guilt overwhelms him and testifies against Injun Joe. Joe then escapes the courthouse through the window. Huck and Tom started to search for buried treasure. On a night when they were in a haunted house, they saw Injun Joe and his partner, with a box of treasure, finding a place to bury it. They coincidentally stumbled on another box of treasure, and left as they did not want to share a hiding place with others. Huck then tails Injun Joe every night, trying to get the treasure. Tom and Becky, along with their classmates went for a picnic in a cave, that ended up in Tom and Becky lost. Tom found out that Injun Jo's hideout was in that cave. Huck found out that Joe was planning an assault on Widow Douglas and warns the people. Huck became a hero soon after.

Tom and Becky found an exit and leaves the cave. Judge Thatcher locked up the cave, leaving Injun Joe inside to starve to death. A week later, the two found the gold they were looking for and Huck gets adopted by Widow Douglas and reluctantly accepts the offer after Tom said that Huck must be "respectable" to join hi gang.
